I began my journey as an acupuncturist as a patient, after being seriously injured in an
airplane incident. After several long and painful months of being treated by Western
Medicine, I saw slow improvements; however I still could not perform some of the basic
functions of everyday life. Desperate to get well, I made an appointment for an
acupuncture treatment, even though I was afraid of needles.
Acupuncture changed my life. I was so profoundly affected by the healing results of my
treatment, that I changed my career to dedicate myself to this healing art and enrolled at Tai Sophia Institute to earn a masters degree in acupuncture.
I love what I am doing and I am thrilled to be able to help people. I see acupuncture as a lifelong commitment of learning and I am grateful to be an instrument in improving people’s lives.
